US Fires Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) in Combat for First Time During Iran Operation

The U.S. military deployed the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) in combat for the first time as part of Operation Epic Fury, CENTCOM chief Admiral Brad Cooper announced Wednesday. The Army long-range missile system provides what CENTCOM described as "an unrivaled deep strike capability" against Iranian targets. CENTCOM also reported that more than 20 Iranian naval vessels have been struck or sunk since the operation began on Saturday, including a Soleimani-class warship destroyed Tuesday night, which Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called "the jewel of Iran's navy."
