Saudi Air Defense Intercepts Iranian Drone East of Riyadh

Saudi Arabia's Defense Ministry announced Saturday it intercepted and destroyed an Iranian drone east of Riyadh, with additional drones downed in the kingdom's southern regions, according to Iran International and Middle East Eye. The interceptions came as Iranian projectile attacks targeted multiple Gulf states overnight, with Saudi air defense systems on high alert as Operation Epic Fury entered its eighth day.
