An IDF officer sustained serious injuries during combat operations in southern Lebanon, the most significant Israeli troop casualty since ground forces expanded their regional presence, as Israel simultaneously struck Hezbollah executive council headquarters and drone storage facilities in Beirut Dahiyeh suburb.
