IDF Drops 100 Bombs on Tehran Bunker With 50 Jets; Iran Missile Attacks Down 90% Since War Began
The Israeli Air Force deployed approximately 50 fighter jets and dropped 100 bombs to fully destroy an underground bunker beneath Tehran used by senior Iranian regime officials, as the IDF struck over 400 additional military targets in western Iran on Friday. A separate strike targeted Asghar Hijazi, acting chief of staff of Supreme Leader Khamenei's office, described as Khamenei's key representative in sensitive security consultations. Since the conflict began, the IAF has conducted 2,500 sorties, dropped more than 6,500 bombs across 150 strike waves, and destroyed over 300 Iranian ballistic missile launchers. Iran's missile attacks have declined 90%, from roughly 90 on the opening day to approximately 20 per day, while Secretary of State Rubio told Arab foreign ministers the war is expected to last several more weeks.
