IDF Carries Out Extensive Strikes on Regime Targets; Katz Declares Khamenei's Successor a Target for Elimination
The Israeli military conducted overnight strikes on dozens of Iranian regime targets, including command centers for the Basij paramilitary force and internal security forces, as well as missile launchers and air defense systems. Iran continued firing ballistic missiles at Israeli towns in response, with 219 Israelis hospitalized over the previous 24 hours for injuries or acute anxiety. Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that any leader appointed by the Iranian regime would be "an unequivocal target for elimination," as the IDF claimed to have destroyed approximately 300 Iranian missile launchers in what it described as a "systematic, round-the-clock hunt." The overnight strikes included first-ever Israeli airstrikes on Isfahan and Shiraz, hitting over 20 targets including facilities storing advanced Ghadr ballistic missiles.
