Hezbollah Rearmed for Months Before War on 50M Per Month Iran Budget
Hezbollah spent months restocking its arsenal of rockets and drones on a 50 million dollar monthly budget supplied largely by Iran, according to six sources familiar with the Lebanese terror group preparations. The group had concluded that a new war with Israel was inevitable following its devastating 2024 conflict and that it faced an existential threat. Hezbollah launched attacks on Israel beginning March 2 with approximately 60 drones and rockets per day, escalating to more than double that figure by March 4. Israeli think tank ALMA estimated Hezbollah held some 25,000 rockets and missiles before the current round of fighting began.
